Blogo – Can you be my friend?

Hi there,

As my adventure with blogging started I’ve look for a friend not to get lost on my new territory. What I came across is Blogo – nice and shiny software form Brainjuice.

I don’t mind using Wordpress native posting system but I still keep this believe that what I got on my desktop is solid as a rock. Another thing is my lack of html skills. Every time I sit in front of my screen to do some changes in few websites I get at least a hundred ideas of more important things to do or ten friends who can do it better and faster then me. So I decided I’ll leave this par for the pros.

Because I’ve never used blogging software before it was a pleasant surprise to see the first screen where I can just write my blog url, login, password and after a few seconds I’m ready to start my work.
Main window offers clean and clear fields and buttons. Just type or drop the title, your main text, picture of you want. Then press preview button to see how the post will look like on your blog and if you’re happy with it just “Post”. That’s it nothing more simple.

If you need to do some more editing you have access to few basic text and graphic options – all this what you see is what you get. And for advance users there’s a tab that will switch to html mode.

What I like the most is Blogo full screen mode which gives you this one color background that hides your desktop so you can concentrate solely on writing.

There is a helpful edit mode that gives you the list of your entries that you can easily change and automatically update on your blog.

Blogo comes as 21-day trial and if you decide you like it just pay $25 to Brainjuice.
As for me I’m gona stick with my new friend for those full 21 days and see where Blogo will take me.
